ReadyTex Textile Airbrush Color

Recommended pressure for airbrushing is 40 to 50 psi.
Multi-Surface Multi-Purpose textile airbrush color. Ready for
textile without additive on natural fibers. Use Spectratex additive with
ReadyTex on synthetics and blends. Just heat set with an iron on fabric
( approximately 4 minutes at fabric temperature) and it is done. Use a thin
cloth over the artwork, never iron directly on the paint. Wash in cold
water and mild detergent ( Woolite, Ivory Snow or similar) to preserve
color intensity.
Apply with an airbrush, pen, or brush. Non-toxic, lightfast,
archival, waterproof, permanent. 70 colors to choose from including
transparent, opaque, metallic, iridescent and fluorescent.
Airbrush and washing instructions for cotton T-Shirts
- Pre-wash before airbrushing can be helpful to wash out the sizing in the cotton
- Place a cloth or cardboard between inside of the shirt to prevent airbrush color from bleeding through to the back
- Use 40 to 50 psi for airbrushing
- Heat set finished T-Shirt or fabric piece with an iron for 4 minutes at fabric temperature. (e.g. cotton)
- Place a thin cloth between the iron and the finished artwork so the iron does not ever touch the paint directly
- Wash in cold water, delicate setting (approximately 28 minutes) low spin with shirt turned inside out (to protect artwork)
- Use mild detergent (Woolite, Ivory Snow or similar)
- Air dry or use low heat in dryer
